I have been weaving as a profession for many years. I began in 1981 weaving a line of women’s sportswear. In the mid-80’s I added a line of handwoven baby items, which were sold through children’s stores. For the last decade I have specialized in weaving one-of-a-kind Rag Rugs and have worked with both individuals and interior design galleries to match colors and create designs that fit their needs.

Pottery was Mark’s occupation for 40+ years. He worked in High Fired Porcelain and Stoneware. About half of the glazes used wood ash as their flux, which gives a distinctive look. He also had two glazes that were 70% Maine clay that we dug locally. There is also a black/brown Temmoku glaze available. The 50 cu. ft. Kiln is propane fired.
